Netomnia is targeting a further 121,000 premises across three new builds in Middleton, Newbury and Folkestone and Dover, with a collective investment of £36.3m.

Middleton will receive a £9m investment as CityFibre and build partner O’Connors look to pass 30,000 homes and businesses.

The altnet is investing a further £10.8m into Newbury, working with MKJ Group to connect 36,000 premises.

Folkestone and Dover are the next two locations to benefit from Netomnia’s £70m investment across Kent, with builds already underway in Canterbury, Ashford, Maidstone and Gravesend.

The company is partnering with STL to connect 21,000 premises in Folkestone and a further 34,000 in Dover.

“Fibre is vital to our everyday lives and we’re committed to ensuring that everyone has equal access to an ultrafast connection they can rely on, currently building at a rate of 30,000 premises passed per month,” said Jeremy Chelot, CEO at Netomnia.
