Cornwall-based Wildanet has opened a new headquarters in Liskeard to accommodate around 80 staff from a workforce of more than 130.

Over 90% of Wildanet workers come from Cornwall and Devon, and the altnet states its new HQ doubles down on a commitment to local talent.

Wildanet CEO Helen Wylde said: “Being at the heart of the communities we serve is very important to us.  We are passionate about local talent and helping people to be the best they can be.”

The new office, a Grade II listed landmark building, has undergone an extensive refurbishment project and was officially opened by South East Cornwall MP, Sheryll Murray.

Wylde added: “Wildanet is dedicated to delivering our business objectives within the context of our ESG, therefore finding a building that we could ‘reuse’ rather than building from scratch was very important to us.

Murray said: “It speaks volumes for Wildanet’s commitment to Cornwall and the local community.”
