Telcom Networks, Luminet and wholesale initiative GigaBritain is to become a rebranded company under a new name, following the integration of its B2B divisions.
O’Connor Utilities has acquired Wigan-based telecom installation service experts FKS to bolster its full fibre network delivery capabilities.
The buy adds capabilities in across all disciplines of analogue and digital network installation including cable installation, fibre splicing and project management. Its clients include Virgin Media, Telent, BT and Fujitsu.
FKS is based in the north of the UK with bases in Wigan and Leeds.
A statement from O’Connors reads: “FKS will bring a wealth of specialist fibre experience to our business and help to support us as we develop and expand our fast-growing telecoms offering for our key clients.”
O’Connor Utilities specialise in the installation, termination and testing of fibre optic cables, providing this service across the UK in conjunction with its sister company Instalcom.
