Ogi extends community fundraising programme

Ogi is extending its community-focused fundraising programme to charities, with staff encouraged to fundraise for their chosen organisations instead of a single corporately nominated charity.

The Cefnogi scheme has offered more than £35,000 to local groups and community projects with staff taking part in over 2,000 volunteering hours since the programme began in 2022.

As part of the new Cefnogi: giving programme, staff can apply for support to cover costs such as event entry fees, with the first £100 towards an individual's fundraising drive also offered by the business.

People Experience Director, Lisa Hand, said: “We’ve previously supported Age Cymru, Blood Bikes Wales and the South and West Wales Wildlife Trust, but as the business grows, we’d like staff to have the option to choose charities they have a personal connection to.”
