Netomnia has successfully delivered over 50,000 homes and businesses Ready for Service in Swansea, marking a milestone for the altnet provider in its rollout to provide fast broadband for residents across the city.

Openreach has started work connecting the first 3,000 homes and businesses to its new ultrafast broadband network in Peacehaven, giving residents a full fibre upgrade.
Thousands of people will be able to connect multiple devices at gigabit-capable speeds with the build expected to reach most local homes and businesses.
Kieran Wines, Openreach Partnership Director, said: “Peacehaven is part of our balanced build across the south east.
“Connecting everyone to our broadband would result in a multi-billion pound economic boost.”
Openreach’s new UK network now reaches more than 17m properties, and the company plans to roll out the new technology to 25 million homes and businesses by the end of 2026, with an ambition to reach up to 30 million by the end of the decade.
MTS is the build partner helping to deliver the investment.
