Quickline Communications aims to allocate at least 5% of its workforce to formal apprenticeships or graduate development schemes in the next five years.
Quickline is forming a new build Team, responsible for constructing its rural fibre networks.
The roles in the 16-strong team are the latest jobs to be created since Quickline moved into its new offices at Albion Mills in Willerby, East Yorkshire.
The new team will be on the ground across North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, connecting rural homes and businesses.
Chris Akrill, Head of Fibre Operations, said: “This will give us even more capacity and flexibility to roll out our gigabit capable broadband network to even more rural communities.
“Our target is to build our broadband network to over half a million homes and businesses by 2025.”
