Fibrus is continuing to support community groups across Northern Ireland and Cumbria bridge the digital divide with the launch of the 2025 Fibrus Broadband Community Fund, which will benefit local groups and clubs.

SWS Broadband has donated £1,000 to an appeal transforming a former Newsagents into two upstairs flats and a ground floor space for local enterprises, charities and NFP organisations to use.
The appeal is being run by Bishop's Castle Community Land Trust’s (BCCLT) which is looking to raise a total of £50,000.
The two flats being created will be let by the Trust for local people in housing need who may not be eligible for a housing association property.
The business space downstairs will be let on a flexible, short term basis to people and enterprises who wouldn’t normally have such an opportunity.”
Rachel Corner, Sales Director at SWS, said: “Like SWS, Bishop's Castle Community Land Trust is rooted in the local community.”
SWS will also provide the hub with a superfast fibre broadband connection when it is up and running.
