Zzoomm is making a £1.25m, investment into the digital infrastructure of Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.
The altnet will make fibre service available to around 3,500 properties.
Matthew Hare, Chief Executive at Zzoomm said: “Surrounded by the North Yorkshire countryside and known for its historic breweries, Tadcaster joins nearby towns Sherburn in Elmet, Thirsk, and Easingwold in becoming part of digitally inclusive towns in the area.
Zzoomm’s infrastructure division boasts a 350-strong in-house civils team that runs five regional hubs and two training centres that allow it to recruit from local communities and develop local talent.
