Openreach is celebrating the milestone of reaching 90% coverage of its full fibre rollout across Northern Ireland – with the region becoming the first within the Openreach UK network to hit this target.

toob has celebrated the third anniversary since signing up its first customer by reaching the milestones of 100,000 premises passed and 10,000 homes connected to full fibre.
Since connecting its first customer in 2019, toob has expanded to cities and towns across Surrey and Hampshire including Southampton, Camberley, Frimley and Aldershot.
toob will continue to drive investment in infrastructure to towns across Surrey and Hampshire and has a further 1,500 customers with installations booked in the coming few months.
Nick Parbutt, CEO and Founder, said: “This is only the start. In the coming months, we will start connecting customers in Aldershot, Fareham and Farnborough, so that even more people can benefit from fibre.”
