Fastr Broadband has completed a broadband rollout in York, giving 8,000 homes and businesses access to high speeds of up to 8,000 Mbps from the full fibre network.

toob is investing £18m to build a fibre network in Gosport that addresses 45,000 homes and businesses.
The build started in 2022 and the first customers are now connected with rollout continuing across Gosport into 2024.
The altnet’s base grew out of Southampton, and its move into Gosport follows growth from Hampshire and Surrey into Dorset and Sussex.
CEO Nick Parbutt said: “toob has been built on our belief that access to fast, reliable broadband at an affordable price is a necessity in today’s increasingly digital world.”
