Commsworld and North Lanarkshire Council are inviting local businesses to a one-day event demonstrating the benefits digital innovation and transformation.
Over 3,000 members of the UK connectivity industry descended on the Business Design Centre in London over the 20th and 21st September for Connected Britain 2022.
Fibreprovider.net was present over the two-day confex to hear how industry leaders are overcoming challenges to ensure the UK emerges as a digital leader.
The content of the conference was split across twelve different streams addressing every facet of the UK’s connectivity journey, from investment and infrastructure through to sustainability and social issues.
The event opened with a range of keynotes, including CXO interviews with Openreach, VMO2, CityFibre, Vodafone UK and TalkTalk. These speakers also congregated for a panel debate which explored the benefits of unlocking a connected Britain.
Day one also featured an address from Ofcom and a range of panels drawing on the expertise of organisations across the full fibre landscape.
Capping off the day was the Connected Britain 2022 Awards which celebrated industry achievements and provided an opportunity for networking.
Returning on day two, attendees heard from Gigaclear and Hyperoptic, alongside Paul Norris from the DCMS.
Between sessions across both days, time was made available to visit exhibitions on the floor of the Business Design Centre, which showed off innovations in 5G and fibre from suppliers and altnets.
