JSM Group has been granted Ofcom Code Powers to improve its client offering by simplifying processes, particularly for power cable trenching and infrastructure projects.

JSM Group Services, a utilities service provider specialising in the provision of energy, water and communications infrastructure, has applied to Ofcom for Code Powers.
The company provides dark fibre networks serving data centres on behalf of a range of clients, including telecoms operators and data centre providers.
It is seeking Code Powers to support the provision and operation of such dark fibre networks across the United Kingdom.
The application said: “In all cases, the Applicant would maintain the system of infrastructure and provide wholesale dark fibre services to its telecom provider and data centre provider customers.”
