A new digital network launched by Connexin and Southend-on-Sea City Council is set to transform how local services are delivered, starting with the rollout of smart water meters, and will help make spotting potential problems much easier.

Virgin Media O2’s gigabit broadband rollout continues, with more than 9,000 more homes in Bath having access to services after work completed.
The network has been built on behalf of nexfibre, which has already reached a total of one million premises passed and ready for service.
Virgin Media O2 will use the network to deliver its broadband services local residents.
Rajiv Datta, CEO at nexfibre said: “nexfibre’s multi-million pound investment in Bath will enable thousands to access the benefits of full fibre broadband, and it marks a significant step on our journey to connect 5 million premises by 2026.”
