Gigaclear’s rollout to 2,500 homeowners in Lydney, in the Forest of Dean, is on track after specialist engineering works that drilled under a historic railway line in the town.
Vorboss has joined Ofcom’s ‘Women in Tech’ pledge and aims to be the first UK network operator to have gender parity in its civil engineering workforce, with this target set for 2027.
This will be boosted by the provider's in-house academy which trains those with little to no previous experience in the telecoms industry, breaking down entry barriers and shifting traditional stereotypes.
It will also leverage its ‘expert track’ programme, which accelerates high performers into its wider leadership team.
Rikshita Khela, Vorboss CPO, said: “An inclusive work environment is in our DNA; we proudly set an example with a diverse team of field engineers, our unique people benefits, and the highest percentage of women in the top pay quartile in the telecoms sector.”
