WightFibre celebrates 25,000th customer milestone

WightFibre is marking a significant milestone after connecting its 25,000th customer, an achievement that shows the company's continued success as its rollout now reaches 72,000 residents.

Noemi Pataki of Ryde became the altnet provider’s 25,000th customer in mid-June, and to celebrate this special occasion, she received a new laptop and mobile phone, presented by Matthew Lovett, Residential Sales Advisor, who assisted her in signing up.

Pateki said: “I am starting my studies to become a teacher in September, and these items were on my wish list, but in this economy, somewhat unattainable. So, you can imagine how happy I am now. Not usually a lucky person either, but to be exactly the 25,000th customer is incredible luck.”

John Irvine, CEO at WIghtFibre commented: “Reaching 25,000 customers is a testament to the trust the people of the Isle of Wight place in us to deliver an essential service, and I want to say thank you for their continued support. Our future-proof full-fibre network, now reaches over 72,000 homes and businesses and is combined with a dedication to customer service.”
