The Spring Budget has failed to recognise the importance of connectivity infrastructure in supporting growth for the UK's digital economy, says Evolve CEO Alan Stephenson-Brown, who seeks more clarity as networks continue to be rolled out.

Wildanet has signed the Armed Forces Covenant to reinforce its dedication to supporting veterans, ex-service personnel, reservists and service families and providing opportunities for career development.
The altnet’s team already includes 34 veterans out of a total workforce of 184.
The signing comes just before Armed Forces Day, on Saturday, June 24, where Wildanet will deploy a team of veterans to set up the Wi-Fi and comms infrastructure for a national event in Falmouth.
CTO Paddy Paddison, a veteran of the Royal Corps of Signals, signed the covenant and said: "By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, we reaffirm our unwavering support for veterans and ex-service personnel, providing them with the necessary resources and opportunities to build successful careers outside the military."
