Quickline Communications aims to allocate at least 5% of its workforce to formal apprenticeships or graduate development schemes in the next five years.
Zzoomm is launching a recruitment drive to fill 81 positions in Northwich and Winsford where it is investing £35m on its fibre rollout.
The altnet will be holding a recruitment event in Winnington on November 18th to fill positions including fibre engineers, project managers and administrators.
Senior Marketing Manager Simon Gray, said in the Norwich and Winsford Guardian: “It’s not every day you get this much private investment into an area to level it up.
“It’s not just about the commercial element; we are recruiting and making sure that people who are actively around the build are involved in the build.”
New recruits will receive comprehensive training delivered in-house at Zzoomm’s Crewe hub.
Zzoomm is currently making fibre available to 43,000 homes and businesses across the two towns.
