CityFibre is set to invest £10m in a new town-wide network that will bring fibre-enabled services within reach of almost every home and business in Newark.

Hastings and Rye MP, Sally-Ann Hart met Openreach engineers working in Hastings to learn about the new £13m fibre network being built in the town.

CityFibre will invest £30m into overhauling the digital infrastructure of Hastings and St Leonards, bringing fibre services in reach of almost every home and business in the region.

BeFibre is connecting 14,000 Brentwood residents with fibre broadband and has awarded local homeowner Tony Morgan with a free 10-year contract worth £6,000.

Fibre services are now accessible to more than 2,100 businesses across Gloucester as ITS Technology Group’s network goes live in the city.

Ruth Edwards, MP for Rushcliffe, visited CityFibre’s £117m fibre rollout project in Nottingham which could unlock £660m in productivity and innovation and deliver a £432m increase in house value.

CDS and Airband are extending their fibre rollout from Hartland to Hartland Quay using a further 1.5km of fibre infrastructure.

CityFibre will begin rolling out a £9.5m fibre network in Sittingbourne later this year as part of a wider investment in the Kent area. 

Ogi has added Bridgend, Caerphilly and Rhondda Cynon Taf to its rollout in south Wales, accelerating its £200m programme to cover 80,000 premises.

BeFibre has connected its first customer in Ingatestone, following five months of preparations to design, build, and test the network.
