Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

CityFibre has completed its primary build in Slough, enabling network access to 42,000 homes in homes in the town, around 80% of its total residential properties.
Construction began on the project in October 2020 and CityFibre has since laid almost 500km of dense full fibre infrastructure across the town.
With the primary-build complete, CityFibre will densify and connect properties in multi-dwelling buildings and on private roads.
According to a report by Hatch Slough could experience over £487m in productivity and innovation gains and £107m from a widened workforce over a 15-year period.
Neil Madle, Partnership Manager at CityFibre, said: “Tens of thousands of homes and businesses in Slough now have access to full fibre connectivity, unlocking heaps of economic opportunities for the town.”
