Connexin has completed the first stage of its Project Gigabit contract for the provision of hyperfast broadband to more than 34,000 rural homes in Nottinghamshire and West Lincolnshire.

CityFibre has selected Telco Systems’ Edgility Open Hybrid Edge platform to power its fibre infrastructure.
Under a £3.3m five-year contract CityFibre will deploy Edgility across 2,000 sites, replacing its legacy customer edge devices with small-footprint white-box, multi-purpose appliances, operated and fully managed by Edgility.
This will enable virtualised networking and security services such as Voice Over IP, SD-WAN and Next Generation Firewall.

“Edgility will enable us to efficiently manage vast numbers of physical edge devices which will be critical, as our network rollout continues to scale.”
