Freedom Fibre is no longer able to complete a contract to roll out gigabit-capable broadband to 12,000 premises in north Shropshire in full, due to changes in the external market, in a new report from the government’s Building Digital UK (BDUK) Agency.

Ogi has partnered with law firm Hugh James for a multi-year deal to improve network resilience across its UK operations, including its Cardiff HQ.
The investment with Ogi will enable the law firm to embrace AI, cloud computing, and remote collaboration to stay competitive, and improve client services.
Ogi’s CEO, Ben Allwright, said: “Hugh James is a forward-thinking firm that understands the power of robust digital connectivity. Delivering a tailored connectivity solution not only supports their daily operations but also positions them for future growth.”
Hugh James’s CTO, Rupert Poole, added: “With an ever-growing demand for data-driven legal services and hybrid working environments, secure, ultra-reliable connectivity is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity."
