GoFibre to deliver first Scotland Project Gigabit lot with L3 Optics

Xantaro is joining Freedom Fibre to accelerate the construction of gigabit-enabled full-fibre networks across Shropshire with the delivery of an integrated, end-to-end solution, in a partnership that will be central to Freedom Fibre’s ambition of becoming one of the top five UK altnets.

CommScope has joined with Altnets to support and future-proof fibre optic innovations in the broadband and central office sectors, allowing both companies to speed up fibre rollouts, improve network resilience, and boost the next phase of digital connectivity.

GoFibre is partnering with Calix to improve residential broadband in Scotland and northern England and will use Calix Broadband Platform’s fully integrated managed services portfolio to expand its reach, deploy new services and boost customer support. 

Fibrus is rolling out its network further across rural Cumbria, with 60% more premises gaining access to faster broadband speeds, following the extension of its Project Gigabit contract.
