A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Connect Fibre has named Rayleigh and Thundersley as the latest locations to join its full fibre broadband network.
Around 5,000 premises across the two Essex Town can now pre-order the altnet's services, with this figure set to increase over the course of the year as work progresses in the area.
Across Essex, Connect Fibre’s network now includes Hockley, where resident installations are underway, and both Hadleigh and South Woodham Ferrers, where residents are due to be connected in the Spring.
Connect Fibre’s CEO, Stefan Stanislawski, said: “The modern-day family household needs reliable broadband for everything including working, education and unwinding. Today, great broadband is a necessity, not a privilege.”
