A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
MSP Connectus is extending its full fibre network to cover around one hundred companies across three additional business parks in St Helens and Chester.
The company is expanding into Waterside Business Park in St Helens, Canal Side and Chowley Oak in Chester.
Further investment is also being made into the Connectus hosting services which are currently distributed across three data centres in Doncaster, Wolverhampton and London to provide greater resilience.
Andy Marsden, Group Business Development Director, said: “The need for SMEs to embrace digital transformation is more apparent every day. Businesses are now becoming more dependent on cloud-based systems which in turn increase the demand for more bandwidth.”
