A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Zzoomm’s full fibre network has gone live across parts of Crewe and Nantwich.
The altnet began building in Crewe back in summer 2021 following completion of its network in Henley-upon-Thames and aims to connect 52,000 homes and businesses in the town.
Zzoomm CEO Matthew Hare said: “For the first time, homes and local businesses in the area will have a choice of network.”
Residents in the town of Shavington will be the first to benefit.
