Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Exascale is working with the Shrewsbury & Newport Canals Trust, a charity based in Telford, to provide fibre to the Wappenshall Junction redevelopment project.
The initiative aims to revive the Canal basin while also offering community spaces and an on-site café.
Thomas Bibb, CEO of Exascale said: “We will be providing managed WiFi solutions in addition to Managed Gigabit Full Fibre connectivity to the building, a massive improvement on the current 1Mbps legacy ADSL connection.”
Bernie Jones, Chairman of the Trust added: “This will bring 21st Century technology to our 200-year-old wharf, for the benefit of our visitors.”
Exascale is expanding its network to serve properties north of Telford & Wrekin, connecting large businesses estates such as Hortonwood through to villages such as Preston upon the Weald Moors and most recently Wappenshall.
