Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Toob’s £7m fibre network has gone live in parts of Fareham where the altnet aims to reach over 19,000 premises.
CEO and Founder Nick Parbutt said: “We firmly believe the deployment of full-fibre networks is an economic and social necessity and the current challenges we are facing only reinforce our view”.
toob’s network rollout began in Southampton in 2019 and continues to progress across the south, with Gosport and Lee-On-The-Solent next on the list.
In Portsmouth, toob has partnered with CityFibre to provide its broadband service.
