Hyperoptic grew its revenues from £65.1m in 2021 to £78.7m for the financial year ending 31st December 2022, a 21% increase.
BT Group’s full results for the year to 31st March 2022 reveal that Openreach now has a full fibre footprint of over 7.2m and annualised Q4 build rate of over three million premises. The Group has seen a take up of 1.8m driven by equinox.
The growth in Openreach helped BT offset a decline in Enterprise and Global, overall leading to revenues of £20.9bn, down 2% year on year and EBITDA of £7.6bn, up 2%.
Within the results was news that Openreach has signed a MoU on a framework with Sky on FTTP co-provisioning, which will allow Sky engineers to complete the majority of their FTTP in-premises provisioning activities on Openreach’s FTTP network.
Chief Executive Philip Jansen said: “Openreach continues to build like fury with a strong and growing early take-up rate of 25%.
“We have strengthened our strategic partnership and key customer relationship with Sky, having now extended our reciprocal channel supply deal into the next decade and agreed a MoU to extend our co-provisioning agreement.”
