Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Freedom Fibre is investing £15m to connect the neighbouring towns of Ellesmere Port, Hooton, and Bromborough as it extends its north west rollout.
Located along the Wirral Peninsula, nearly 48,000 homes and 2,500 businesses will be able to access fibre through Freedom Fibre’s partnership TalkTalk.
This comes at the same time as Cheshire West and Chester Council’s successful bid for the UK Government’s “Levelling up” funding and will also support the Wirral Council’s Digital Wirral Strategy.
Steven Warner, said: “Full-fibre broadband will vastly improve the lives of people working from home and will give more flexibility for hybrid workers.”
