Quickline has taken a significant step in its commitment to nurturing regional talent by welcoming its first cohort of telecoms apprentices, reflecting the company’s dedication to delivering social value as part of its four government-awarded Project Gigabit contracts.
Foresight Group has made a significant investment into F&W Networks, enabling the altnet to expand its fibre network which currently passes 185,000 premises in the south of England.
F&W is building fibre infrastructure in 21 towns and cities, including Surrey, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Greater London and West Sussex.
This new investment will enable F&W to accelerate its ambition to pass one million properties by 2025.
Carlos Bock, Executive Chairman of F&W Networks, said: “This partnership, with Foresight’s infrastructure investment capacities, will provide us with the ability to rapidly scale our roll-out.”
