Francis Giffen Memorial Hall in Sudborough has become the 49th Community Hub connected to fibre by Gigaclear in its north central region rollout.
The north Northamptonshire village hall is the venue for parish council meetings, exercise classes, band rehearsals and a monthly village pop-up café.
Fibre broadband will open up more commercial opportunities for the village by extending the type of events it can stage.
Former Francis Giffen Memorial Hall Chairperson Rhona Rowland said: “It’s important the village hall is self-sustaining as it is a charitable trust. It’s a valuable community asset which Gigaclear has kindly given its support to.”
