Connexin has completed the first stage of its Project Gigabit contract for the provision of hyperfast broadband to more than 34,000 rural homes in Nottinghamshire and West Lincolnshire.
Hampshire-based ISP Giganet is joining CityFibre's national network, enabling it to offer residents ultra-fast broadband.
CityFibre is currently engaged in an up to £4bn Gigabit City Investment Programme and Giganet will be the latest consumer Internet service provider to become a customer.
Andrew Skipsey, Chief Executive Officer at Giganet, said: "Building on our experience of offering full fibre home broadband, this partnership will ensure we can connect even more people in previously poorly served areas.
"This announcement builds on our established partnership with CityFibre since 2018.
"In Portsmouth, our local city, we have been awarded both Original Launch Partner and City Champion status, reflecting our commitment to and success in unleashing the benefits of full fibre connectivity."
Greg Mesch, Chief Executive Officer at CityFibre, said: "We are currently mobilising or building across 67 towns and cities nationwide and have plans to reach up to eight million premises by 2025."
