CityFibre has completed the primary-build of its full fibre network in Havant, Westbourne and other surrounding areas, allowing over 22,000 homes in the region access - around 98% of premises - making it one of the best-connected locations in the UK.

Voneus is extending its fibre rollout to 17,000 rural homes in Oxfordshire and Warwickshire following a partnership with Glenevin Construction.
Glenevin has delivered fibre to over 100,000 homes within the M25 and is currently working to connect over 200,000 homes in both Glasgow and Edinburgh simultaneously through Fibre-to-the-Premise (FTTP).
Sue Barnes, COO at Voneus said: “We are in the business of bringing urban connectivity to the rural areas of the UK that often are deemed either too expensive to serve or are over-looked completely. Oxfordshire and Warwickshire are the next steps in this plan.”
Glenevin will work with Cherwell District Council to create local jobs and build relationships with the local communities whilst engaging with local schools on road and construction safety to keep everyone safe whilst work is being undertaken.
Work on Voneus’s new fibre network build is expected to start in May and service should be ready for deployment by the end of this summer.
