G.Network Chairman steps down after nearly five years

Sean Williams has decided to step down from his role as Chairman to pursue other interests.

Since joining in 2018, Williams has seen G.Network grow its network 50-fold and achieve a 40-fold increase in its customer base.

He also helped secure over £500m of investment, including the recently finalised £150m to finance the new business plan for coming years.

Kevin Murphy, CEO of G.Network, said “Williams has been instrumental in the growth of the business and his wise counsel and industry expertise has helped us successfully navigate this start-up and investment phase.”

Williams will be succeeded by Ian Gray, Non-executive Director at Clancy Group Holdings and SVM UK Emerging Fund, who brings 20 years of chairmanship experience.
