Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

GoFibre’s full fibre broadband network has over 115,000 homes and businesses Ready for Service across more than 30 local areas in Scotland and the north of England.
One build nearing competition is in Fofar where 6,000 homes and businesses will go live by September 2024.
To celebrate this, the altnet welcomed Dave Doogan, MP for Angus and Perthshire Glens to witness the late-stage network build.
Mr Doogan met with local members of the GoFibre team and was given a demonstration of how the network is constructed.
Andy Hepburn, COO at GoFibre, said: “Bringing this new level of digital connectivity to the area will help close the digital divide, and we are looking forward to seeing the benefits come to fruition.”
