A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Grain has earmarked eight new locations set for full fibre meaning the altnet is now operating in 34 towns and cities across the UK.
Birmingham – Birchfield, Gateshead, Lincoln, Preston, Plymouth – Keyham, St Helens, Wigan and Wolverhampton are all set to benefit from the next phase of Grain’s national network expansion.
Tracy Karam, Head of Customer Experience for Grain said: “Customers are relying more and more on a fast, reliable and secure network for working, learning, gaming, and entertainment. We are pleased to be rolling this out to many new areas.”
Grain specialises in the new-build housing sector as a partner to housebuilders, providing fibre optic internet services to over 100 new housing developments.
