A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Grain set a record on August 6th for the time taken between customer sign-up and installation of a brand-new full fibre service, completing the process in 29 minutes and breaking its previous record of 36 minutes.
This occurred in Oldham, where install engineer Samantha completed the installation before Sales, Provisioning and Technical Support Teams facilitated the sign-up (16:40), scheduled the installation, and configured the router (17:09).
Richard Cameron, CEO of Grain, said: “Building our own independent infrastructure, rather than renting the Openreach network enables us to deliver for our customers in a way no other provider can match.”
