A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Homes and businesses across Harrogate and Knaresborough can now connect to fibre as CityFibre progress its £46m regional build.
CityFibre has made homes in Knaresborough, Rossett Green and the area to the South of the Stray in Harrogate ready for service. The rollout is being delivered by makehappen Group.
Customers in this area can sign up to services from Boundless Networks, TalkTalk and Zen, with Giganet, Vodafone and other providers expected to join the network soon.
Construction is underway in Pannal and Bilton in Harrogate, as well as parts of Starbeck, while work in Ripon is set to start later this year.
