Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Openreach has added Pluckley, named by the Guinness World Records as the most haunted village in Britain, to its full fibre networks.
Locals in the Kent town used the UK Government’s Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme, alongside a contribution from Openreach, to help fund the village’s digital transformation.
The project has addressed 600 homes and businesses in the area which can now upgrade to ultrafast full fibre.
Openreach’s Chief Engineer, Andy Whale said: “Our engineers, local residents and highways authorities worked together to overcome many challenges and it’s a tremendous example of what can be achieved when communities come together for the benefit of everyone.
