Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Horsham MP Jeremy Quin recently joined representatives of CityFibre and build partner Lanes-I for a tour of their £12m town fibre rollout.
He was introduced to the fibre digital infrastructure and provided demonstrations of the typical build process, including excavation and reinstatement.
“As we move into the digital age, it’s of vital importance that Horsham has the digital infrastructure it needs to thrive,” he said.
A CityFibre spokesperson added: “According to research from Hatch, in Horsham alone, our network is expected to contribute £58m in productivity and innovation, and a £75m increase in house value.”
