Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

LilaConnect has surpassed 15,000 connected customers, increasing new orders by 90 per cent over the last year. It has also witnessed a 300 per cent growth in Active Subscribers.
The retail ISP is part of Freedom Fibre’s network following the altnet’s tie up with VXFIBRE.
It will continue to commercialise its current footprint across Stoke-on-Trent, Bristol, Colchester, Wivenhoe, Crewe, Nantwich, Leek and Uttoxeter.
Jan Lange, MD at LilaConnect said: “At LilaConnect we understand the important part we play in helping to eliminate the digital divide by ensuring everyone in the community has access to fit for purpose and future proof connectivity.
“The next step is to get even more homes and businesses across the UK connected to this essential full fibre network.”
