A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.

Netomnia has begun work in Hitchin to bring fibre to 85,000 homes and businesses through a £25.5m investment.
The infrastructure is being delivered by GNS Communications using existing ducting and overhead poles where possible to minimise disruption to the local community.
Netomnia MD Zoltan Kovacs said: “Fibre broadband can truly unleash the potential of the area and give those that other providers have not addressed an opportunity to benefit from all the positives the Internet brings with it.
