A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Netomnia has connected an MDU in Liverpool to its fibre network as the altnet looks to pass 130,000 premises in the city.
The MDU work in Liverpool was undertaken in partnership with contractor, GL Telecoms. The pair plans to connect more regional MDUs over the coming months.
Sophia Koopman, Business Development Director at Netomnia said: “Everyone deserves to have seamless access to the wealth of resources that the internet can offer.
“By working together with landlords and local authorities we can ensure nobody is left behind when it comes to connectivity.”
