A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Netomnia will target a further 292,500 premises across Purfleet, Mansfield, Coatbridge and Bedford, with a collective investment of £87.5m.
Purfleet will see an investment of up to £16.8 million to target around 56,000 premises, becoming Netomnia’s first venture into Essex.
Netomnia will work with GNS Communications to rollout infrastructure in the village and surrounding areas of Grays, Chafford Hundred and Tilbury.
An additional 87,500 premises will be passed through a £26m investment in Coatbridge which marks Netomnia’s fifth rollout location in Scotland.
Netomnia is also starting its fifth rollout in Bedfordshire, passing 75,000 premises through a £22.5m investment, with help from Opals Group.
Map Group’s expertise will be leveraged to ensure the remaining £22.2m is well used to reach 74,000 premises in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
