GoFibre is celebrating connecting 1,000 Hawick residents, as build completes in the town with homes and businesses now benefitting from full fibre.
netomnia is celebrating a strong year for premises serviceable passed in 2024, following the full financial results published that includes figures for YouFibre and Brsk.
The altnet provider has successfully its FTTP network to cover 2 million homes and businesses, up from 1.27 million the previous year – an increase of 255, 000 in Q4. Customers have also grown to 238, 000 premises connected, rising from 171, 000 in 2023.
netomnia is now focusing on reaching its next target on time, looking to expand its full fibre network to cover 3 million premises by the end of 2025 (including 1 million customers by 2028). The service is currently available across parts of over 90 UK cities and towns.
Revenue figures were £38.6m, and EBITDA was £29.6m, with a take-up increase of 11.5%. The company also saw net debt increase to £531m.
