Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Network Plus has been awarded a £23m contract by CityFibre to rollout full fibre in Halifax.
The project will create more than 40 local jobs and connect nearly every home and business in the city.
Steve Moore (pictured), Area Manager for Halifax, said: “Our investment is set to transform the digital capabilities of residents and businesses.
“As well as future-proofing Halifax’s digital infrastructure and capabilities, this project is providing a welcome boost to the jobs market.”
Kevin Armer, Operations Manager, Network Plus, added: “We will work closely with Calderdale Council and the local community to manage disruption and to ensure a fast and successful rollout.”
Work is set to begin in June in the Queens Road area of the town and as services go live customers will be able to access full fibre enabled services via Vodafone, TalkTalk, IDNet, Giganet and Zen.
