Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

nexfibre has completed the first phase of work to bring full fibre to Doncaster, providing residents access Virgin Media services for the first time.
The ultrafast network has been built as part of a £4.5bn investment to deliver high-speed fibre to the home connections to 5 million homes across the UK by 2026.
The investment has been welcomed by local MP, Dame Rosie Winterton, on a recent site visit where she met representatives from Virgin Media O2.
Julie Agnew, MD of Fixed Network Expansion at Virgin Media O2 said: “More than 5,000 homes and businesses in Doncaster can now feel the benefit of Virgin Media’s services.”
