Openreach has started work connecting the first 3,000 homes and businesses to its new ultrafast broadband network in Peacehaven, giving residents a full fibre upgrade.

Openreach is continuing to rollout faster broadband, and more than 125,000 residents in Coventry can now connect to full fibre technology as its network expansion increases.
Full fibre now reaches around 80 per cent of properties across the city, enabling homes and businesses to connect multiple devices at gigabit-capable speeds.
Across the whole of the West Midlands, more than 825,000 residents are now able to upgrade thanks to the company’s substantial investment and network build.
Openreach’s full fibre network now reaches more than 17 million properties, and the company plans to extend this to 25 million homes and businesses by the end of 2026.
