Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Openreach engineers have started work to build a fibre network in Hartlepool as part of a wider network that has already reached more than 73,000 homes and businesses across County Durham.
MP for Hartlepool, Jill Mortimer, met with Openreach's chief engineers to witness the engineering techniques used.
The visit was hosted by Robert Bates, Openreach’s local build manager, who said: “Our local teams work hard every day to keep communities across County Durham connected, and it was great to be able to share the challenges and realities of delivering this life changing infrastructure.”
The first tranche of premises to go live in Hartlepool will contain 6,000 homes and businesses.
