A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Through its partnerships with CityFibre and Openreach, Vodafone can now reach 15.3 million households with full fibre broadband, according to the company's latest financial results.
Vodafone's UK’s total revenue increased by 0.2% to €6.8 billion as service revenue growth was offset by a decline in equipment revenue.
Mobile service revenue grew by 5.4% and Business service revenue increased by 3.3%.
In the UK, Vodafone’s Adjusted EBITDA increased by 4.3% in the year to £1,408m
Vodafone’s overall Group revenue decreased by 2.5% to €36.7bn due to the disposals of Vantage Towers, Vodafone Hungary and Vodafone Ghana.
Margherita Della Valle Group CEO said: “We performed slightly ahead of expectations in the financial year, with good organic service revenue growth of 6.3% and organic EBITDA growth of 2.2%. Our Business division achieved 5.4% revenue growth in the fourth quarter.”
